Richard Lee Franklin, 62, of Fulton, Mo., passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at his home in Fulton, Mo. Richard was born on November 5, 1958, in Fulton, Mo., the son of Robert and Ruth (Bosch) Franklin. On April 18, 1983, he was united in marriage to Beverly Walker in McKinney, Texas. He was a devoted husband, father and grandpa. He grew up in Fulton but his heart was in Texas. Richard was passionate about old cars and was employed most of his adult life in the whole sale car industry. His early morning routine was flushing the moles out of the yard with a water hose, waiting for them to appear and then killing them. He will be greatly missed, but God has now called him home and he is finished with his earthly body. Survivors include: his wife, Beverly Franklin of the home; mother, Ruth Franklin of Fulton, Mo.; two sons, Richard Preston Franklin (Sam) of Denison, Texas and Albert Stoddard (Carolyn) of Enid, Okla.; one daughter, April Rincon (Freddy) of Anna, Texas; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Franklin; one daughter, Sandra Hunter; and one brother, Randy Franklin. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
