Margie Sue Henry

Margie Sue Henry, 83, of Fulton, was called to her Heavenly home on Thursday, September 2, 2021. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 9, 1938, to the late Estil Norman McCullough and the late Genevieve Alma (McLaughlin) McCullough. On March 7, 1959, Margie married Harold Eugene Henry, who survives her passing. Margie will be remembered as a loving wife and mother, and woman of great faith. An active member of Hams Prairie Christian Church, Margie served as the church pianist and organist, choir director, and Sunday School teacher. Her greatest passions were going to church, studying God's word, and being with her family. Her hobbies included playing piano, singing, decorating her home, scrapbooking, and ancestry research. She was a talented seamstress who enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, and cross-stitching. Blessed with a green thumb, Margie enjoyed tending to her flower beds and was a member of the Garden Club. She will be fondly remembered by her husband of 62 years, Harold; sons, Harold L. Henry (Melinda) of Chicago, Ill., and Randall R. Henry (Anita) of Rocky Mount; daughters, Jill S. Luebbert (Alan) of Fulton and Kari L. Goette (Greg) of Columbia, Ill.; brother, Ken McCullough; and 11 grandchildren, Gus Henry, Paige Luebbert, Abigail Luebbert, Nate Henry, Brock Henry, Spencer Henry, Adam Goette, Elizabeth Luebbert, Campbell Henry, Eric Goette, and Parker Henry. Margie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary McCullough; and sister, Ann Russom. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Hams Prairie Christian Church with Pastors Ben Montgomery and Cody Allen officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in a family cemetery on the Luebbert Farm.
