Barry J. Romaker, 74, of Fulton, Mo., passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. Barry was born in Hermann, Mo. on July 8, 1947, the son of the late Nicholas and Leona (Fowler) Romaker. He was the husband of Cheryl (Hudson) Romaker. They were united in marriage on September 3, 1966, at Big Spring United Methodist Church, Big Spring, Mo. Barry proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a welder for Central Electric Company in Fulton for 21 years. Barry loved hunting, being outdoors, riding his four wheeler and spending time with his family. Barry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Cheryl Romaker of the home; four daughters, Christine McMeans and husband Chad of Fulton, Mo.; Cynthia Lamons and husband Doug of Mokane, Mo.; Jeannette Quick and husband Scott of Mokane, Mo.; and Angela Frasher and husband Shawn of Fulton, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; sister, Keva Williams and significant other Larry Tune of Chamois, Mo.; and brother, Kerby Romaker of McKittrick, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James Romaker; and a sister, Brenda Axton. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 6 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, Mo., where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Loutre Island Cemetery, McKittrick. Memorials may be given to Loutre Island Cemetery, c/o Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
