Phillip A. Hoover Sr., 60, of Fulton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Callaway Community Hospital. He was born on January 8, 1961, to the late Darrell Hoover and Thelma Jean (Barnes) Brown. On October 10, 1981, Phillip married the love of his life, Tina (Taullie) Hoover. They enjoyed spending time together and recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Phillip retired from Callaway Electric Cooperative where he worked as a groundsman and mechanic for 22 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and boating. Phillip will be fondly remembered by his wife, Tina; children, Teresa Taullie-Scott (Laronna) of Fulton, and Phillip Andrew Hoover Jr. (Mackenzie Bohrn) of Fulton; mother, Thelma Brown; siblings, Sarah Groves (John), Cathy Brewer (Dale), Rose Snook (Joe), Tina Hoover, David Hoover (Stacy), Archie Hoover (Donna), and Tonya Ballard (Jason); grandchildren, Brianna Kramer, Dillon Sheely, and Zachary Hoover; great-grandchild, Xzavius Chambers; cousin and best friend, Billy Barnes; several nieces and nephews, including special hunting buddies Sari Brady (niece) and Sayler Gay (great-niece). In addition to his father, Phillip was preceded in death by step-father, Herbert Brown Jr.; and siblings, Tammy Busker and Herbert Gene Brown Jr. It was Phillip's wish to be cremated with no services held.
