Margaret Mary Boos Roach, 57, of Wellsville, Mo., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Mo., surrounded by family. Margie was born on December 16, 1963, in St. Louis, Mo., the ninth of twelve children raised by Jim and Madeleine Boos. She attended school in Warrenton, Mo. until the age of 16 and married her love, Larry "Wayne" Roach, at the age of 18. Wanting to fulfill a promise she had made to herself and her children, she completed her GED as an adult. Margie and Wayne were married for nearly 36 years when he was called to be with God. During their marriage, the two worked together to raise their three daughters in the most loving way possible. They also purchased a piece of land and worked to turn an old cow pasture into a beautiful piece of property with a lovely home. The two loved to work together tending their many gardens and fruit trees. Margie was employed at Beacon Shoe factory in the 1980s and spent the rest of her working years at GenCorp Automotive in Berger which became Henniges Automotive in New Haven. Although she did not ever have her dream job, she took a lot of pride in always putting forth her very best effort. She passed her work ethic down to her children. Until the very end, Margie was very proud that she came from a large family, and she spent her lifetime loving each and every new member added to it. She loved to host huge dinner parties on holidays and was very skilled in the kitchen, making countless delicious meals for her immediate family and also many for large crowds. She loved her daughters with all of her heart and loved to brag about them to people she met. She was especially fond of her grandchildren and loved to spend time baking and crafting with them, reading with them, and catching up on their lives and day to day happenings during in-person visits and chats on the phone. "Maw Maw Roach" will be greatly missed by her grandbabies. Margie is survived by her three daughters, Angela (Tanner) Russell of Fulton, Mo., Tracie (Chad) Schofield of Wellsville, Mo., and Ashley (Joseph) Leible of Columbia, Mo.; six grandchildren, Colton Schofield, Jonah Russell, Karlie Schofield, William Russell, Khloe Schofield, and Jameson Russell; siblings, David Boos, Nancy Zykan, Kathy Buxton, Susan Kertz, Lauren Kriegbaum, Patricia Hill, Sharon Bennett, Barb McVey, John Boos, and Thomas Boos; and countless nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.
