Vada Augustine Hampton

Vada Augustine Hampton, 94, of Fulton, Mo., formerly of Auxvasse, Mo., passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021, at her home. Vada was born on August 19, 1926, in New Florence, Mo., the daughter of Claude and Ora (Penn) Davis, who preceded her in death. On June 13, 1942, she was united in marriage to Henry Lee Hampton in Montgomery City, Mo. He preceded her in death on June 25, 1988. Survivors include: one son, George Hampton (Angie) of Auxvasse, Mo.; one daughter, Sydney Havrum (David) of Auxvasse, Mo.; one brother, Robert Davis (Bernadine) of Auxvasse, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Logan, Parker, Shaun, Rusty, Shannon, Cassie, Mark and Jackie; and eight great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Henry Lee Hampton in 2019; one brother, C.M. Davis; and two sisters, Irene Sholl and Frances Edwards.
