Clifford Dean Morts, 60, formerly of Fulton, Mo., passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021, at his home in Los Angeles, Calif. Clifford was born on March 1, 1961, in Fulton, Mo., the son of Harvey Gene and Barbara June (Greenburg) Morts. He graduated from Fulton High School in 1979 and attended Southwest Missouri State University (now MSU) in pursuance of a degree in theatre performance. Clifford was successful on many stages across the country some of which included, Little Rock, Ark., Ft. Myers, Fla., Sanibel Island, Fla., Rochester, N.Y., Louisville, Ky., and Chicago, Ill. He was an actor, playwright, director with several notable stage productions to his name. Clifford appeared in several CBS, AMC and HBO television series. He loved to act, sing, make people laugh, Mohammad Ali and Marlon Brando. He cherished and adored his family and friends. Survivors include his father, Harvey G Morts (Judy); brother, Terry G Morts (Becky); and sister, Marlene Railton (Rick). Clifford was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara June Morts. A private family graveside will be conducted at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Debo Funeral Home, Fulton, Mo.
