Raynald Ray NiedergerkeMarch 27th, 2021
Raynald (Ray) Niedergerke, age 80, of New Bloomfield, passed away on March 19, 2021. He was born December 19, 1940, to Claude and Lorena (Oehrke) Niedergerke. Ray graduated from Fulton High School and attended Westminster College. He was the outside sales manager of FAB Building Center and retired from Mid-City Lumber in Jefferson City. Ray was an avid golfer and was a big fan of the Mizzou Tigers and the St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed his farm and raised Longhorn cattle. He was a faithful member of Hopewell Baptist Church in New Bloomfield. Survivors include: his wife of 43 years, Glenda Niedergerke; son, Philip Niedergerke of Independence, Mo.; daughter, Amy Helton (Justin); and two grandsons, Jackson and Joshua Helton of Jefferson City, Mo.; brothers, Gary Niedergerke (Barbra) of Fulton and Claude Niedergerke Jr. of Fulton; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother, Lauren; and a sister, Jewel Anderson. A memorial service for the family will be held at a later date.
