Florence Maurita Pugh

Florence Maurita Pugh, 97, Fulton, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at her home in Fulton, Mo. Florence was born on January 13, 1924, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of Jesse and Lola (Dillon) White who preceded her in death. On May 11, 1946, in Kentucky, she was united in marriage to Elmer Pugh who preceded her in death on February 22, 2013. She was a faithful and active member of Fulton Church of Christ and beforehand at Fairview Church of Christ in Columbia, Mo. Florence enjoyed sewing and quilting but adored spending time with her loving family. Survivors include: one son, Phillip Pugh (Terri) of Fulton, Mo.; one daughter, Kathy Hinze (Larry) of Granbury, Texas; one brother, William White (Barbara) of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Lu Craft of Ft Walton Beach, Fla. and Diana Payton (Donald) of South Shore, Ky.; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Goehringer; two grandchildren, Eric Pugh and Stephanie Taylor; one brother, Jesse White and one sister, Jean Simkins. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton, Mo. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021, at 11:00 at the funeral home Rev. Thurman Hux officiating. Burial will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
