Mary Ruth Glover, 84, of Mokane, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Heisinger Bluffs in Jefferson City. Born in Wainwright, Missouri on December 2, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Korsmeyer and the late Mildred (Fowler) Korsmeyer. On June 29, 1957, Ruth married William J. "Bill" Glover, who preceded her in death December 31, 1997. Ruth retired from the State of Missouri Division of Employment Security. She was a member of the Mokane United Methodist Church. She created many great memories while traveling with her family and spent many hours traveling with Bill to field trials with his fox hounds. Ruth loved playing cards, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, and going to dinner with friends. She enjoyed doing handwork, including crocheting, cross stitch, and working puzzles. She found the most joy in times spent with her family and watching her kids and grandkids playing sports. She will be lovingly remembered by daughters, Cathy Glover of Mokane, Julie Clardy of Fulton, and Debbie Taylor (Jim) of Holts Summit; sisters, Jean Rackers of Wainwright, Marge Derrieux (Howard) of Holts Summit, and JoAnn Sumner of Columbia; grandchildren, Drew Clardy (Jessica), Emma Davis (Michael), and Logan Taylor; great- grandchildren, Jonah, Jules, and Michael Junior; and several nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her brother, William "Bill" Korsmeyer. Private graveside service will be held at Mokane Cemetery.
