Chad Thomas Doerhoff, 37, of Fulton, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, at University of Missouri Hospital. He was born in Columbia, on November 14, 1984, to Greg Doerhoff and the late Karen (Millard) Doerhoff. Chad adored his fiancée, Shanelle. He was looking forward to the next chapter of his life with her and her children which he loved as his own. Chad also treasured spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Chad loved the outdoors and spent hours hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed Jeep rides and was always ready for a new adventure. Chad was an incredibly generous person, donating his time for causes such as Adopt-A-Family and SERVE, Inc. Since Chad graduated college, he's worked in the Telecommunication Industry and had been with the IT Department at Ameren for the past 16 years. Chad will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his father and step-mother, Greg and Tammie Doerhoff; fiancée, Shanelle Bowers and her children, Zavier McPherson, Caden Bowers, Chloe Bowers and Peyton Bowers; brothers, Travis Doerhoff (Lori) and Ryan (Tammy); sisters, Mikaela Doerhoff and Morgan Starnes (Caleb); and nieces and nephews, Alexeya Doerhoff, RyLynn Doerhoff, Jace Doerhoff, Noah Starnes, Harper Starnes, Laney Doerhoff, and Grace Starnes; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Chad was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Millard Doerhoff; grandparents, Felix and Marie Doerhoff and Donald and Norma Millard; and uncle, Brent Millard. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Friends will be received from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Callaway Memorial Gardens. In remembrance of Chad's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the SERVE, Inc. Back-to-School Program or the Super Sam Foundation.
