Catherine Rose "Catie" ClarkAugust 19th, 2021
Catherine Rose "Catie" Clark, 47, of Holt Summit, passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. She was born in Harrisonville, MO on June 30, 1974, to Larry G. Clark and Martha J. Hamilton. Catie will be remembered as a unique and authentic person who was adventurous, fun-loving, and free-spirited. Anyone who met her knew instantly that she would always shoot you straight. She was blessed with many friends and family who loved her unconditionally and who also meant the world to her. Catie's children said she instilled in them her best qualities, served as an exceptional role model, and could always be counted on for advice on life. Catie was an employee of Dollar General Distribution Center for 16 years where she will be remembered for her strong work ethic and a sharp wit that made work a fun place to be when she was around. Catie wrote her own rules for life and lived 1,000 years in the 47 years she walked this earth. She was a strong, determined, proud, and fiercely independent woman. We will miss her every day. Catie loved and touched deeply her children, Leslie N. Clark of Fulton and Louis D. Henry III of Columbia; mother, Martha J. Hamilton of Lexington, Ky.; father, Larry G. Clark of Kansas City, Mo.; sisters, Kelley Clark (Tanya), Jo Ellen Clark DiGiovanni (Anthony), and Alix Andrea Cox (Chuck); granddaughter, Charlotte R. Weeks; her Ride or Dies Amber, Cass, and Danielle; her lazy cat, Izzy; and family and friends too numerous to list. Please join us celebrating her life at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton on Saturday, August 28. Family and friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Her children are hoping for a celebration so bright colors are welcome-green if you have it.
