Clint Wayne McDonald, 45, of Fulton, passed away at his residence on Monday, April 5, 2021. He was born in Fulton on November 11, 1975, to Curt McDonald and Debbie (Love) McDonald. Clint married Heather Ann (Bates) McDonald on May 28, 1994. She survives his passing. Clint attended South Callaway RII High School, Missouri Western College, and Bethany Bible College. He served in the Missouri National Guard. Clint earned his living as a welder at Young's Welding and Machine Shop. He was an active member of Lighthouse Church where he helped with Freedom Brothers along with his brother in Christ, Chad Ellis. Clint was known by many names; son, brother, husband, father, and most cherished, "Pappy". His nicknames were Clifford and Joker. Clint loved riding motorcycles. His hobbies were making leather and sewing handkerchiefs for fellow motorcycle riders. Most importantly, he loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. Clint had a heart after God. He loved seeing people smile at his jokes. Clint could give the best hugs that fixed everything and had a smile that could light up a room. His heart was happy when he was surrounded by children, from babies who loved his beard to the youth group he led. Clint enjoyed grilling for friends and family. He had a special bond with his brothers and sisters in Christ. Clint will be remembered as a man with a heart of gold who was loved by anyone who met him. Clint now stands with his son and Jesus, no longer struggling with spiritual battles, and is at peace resting in the arms of our Father. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Heather; parents, Curt and Debbie McDonald; mother and father-in-law, Bob and Jill Bates; daughter, Kaitlyn Call (Jaron); brothers, Christopher McDonald (Amber) and Charles McDonald; brother-in-law, Travis Bates; grandchildren, Reiley McDonald and Waylon Call; niece, Kayla; nephews, Oliver and Davin; and many others he considered family. He was preceded in death by his son, Alexander McDonald. A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Lighthouse Church with Pastor Jason Jordan officiating. Memorial donations are suggested to Hams Prairie Christian Church Youth Group and Encounter Ministries, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251.
