Caroline Simpson

Caroline A. Simpson, 68, of Fulton, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020 at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics. She was born on May 5, 1952 in Chester, Illinois to the late Mabel (Keeton) Miller. Caroline worked as a Security Aide at Fulton State Hospital for more than 30 years, retiring in 2004. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She was an animal lover and especially cared for dogs and horses. She is survived by her significant other, Gene Clark; sons, Steven Simpson of Fulton and David Simpson (Mary) of Fulton; step-son, Jason Clark of Fulton; step-daughters, Tiffany Wynn (Zane) of Fulton, and Gena Feger (Chris) of Brookfield; half-brothers, Louis "Buster" Miller of Fulton and Larry Joe Keeton; half-sister, Laura Crandall of Fulton; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Caroline was preceded in death by her mother, and step-father, Louis Miller. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Auxvasse Cemetery.
