Norma Jean Harrison, 80, of Fulton, passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. She was born in Dixon, Missouri on January 25, 1940, to the late Melvin Lester Sims and the late Imogene (Sloan) Sims. Norma was married to Donald Ray Winterbower. After his passing, she married James W. Harrison Sr. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2005. Norma loved being a mother and a wife. She enjoyed, attending family reunions. The thing she enjoyed most was listening to music. Norma danced with her brother on the Admiral Show Boat in St. Louis. She worked hard all her life to take care of her family. She was employed as certified nurse's aide at Fulton Presbyterian Manor. She will be terribly missed and never forgotten by children, Debra Winterbower of Fulton, Anita Martin of Birmingham, Al., Teresa Harrison of Fulton, James W. Harrison Jr. (Mary) of Holts Summit, Robert Harrison (Susan) of Columbia, Mike Harrison (Heidi) of Fair Hope, Ala., and Lori Spradling (Kevin) of Fulton; brothers, Dwight Sims (Shirley), Dean Sims, Kenny Sims (Debbie), Larry Sims, and Willis Sims; sisters, Linda Chandler (Danny), and Brenda Bell (Charlie); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and brothers, Charles, Roger, Mike, Keith, Danny, Charles Dwight, and Jerry Wayne Sims. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Jessica Harrison officiating. Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
