Ronald Lee Murrell

MURRELL Ronald Lee Murrell, age 54, of Fulton, gained his wings on Monday, November 2, 2020. He loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews, and loved to work on cars with his brothers and his closest friends. He loved fishing, camping, hunting, and liked watching old western movies. He worked for Backers in Fulton, Mo. as groundskeeper for many years. He is survived by his brothers: Larry Murrell (Linda) of Sturgeon, Charles Bell Sr. (Brenda) of Portland, Roger Murrell (Anna) of Mokane, Kenny Murrell of Calwood, Johnny Murrell of Fulton, and Walter Murrell Fulton; and sisters: Lillie Spicer of Fulton and Violet Ballard (Bob) of Fulton. He had many close friends including Larry Dudley, Joseph Eads, and Robitina (Anne) Davis. He was preceeded in death by his parents: Rosie Mae Armstrong and Jess Willard Murrell; brothers: James Murrell, Jesse Murrell, Marvin Murrell, David Murrell: and sisters: Margaret Adams and Geraldine Garriot. Graveside services with Rev. Mike Haldeman officiating, will be held at Portland Cemetery on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at 1 p.m. with a dinner to follow at Portland Community Center. Donations are welcome for the American Diabetes Association.
