Darrick D. Brown

BROWN Darrick D. Brown, 34, of Williamsburg, passed away at University of Missouri Hospital on Saturday, October 31, 2020. He was born on April 29, 1986, in Fulton to the late James Melvin "Pete" Brown and the late Sandra Kay (Fox) Brown. On July 18, 2015, Darrick married Kristell (Pittenger) Brown who survives his passing. Darrick was a graduate of North Callaway High School. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding 4 wheelers, and going mudding. He worked at Dollar General Warehouse for 10 years before following is heart and farming full time. He raised cattle and goats. Darrick loved spending time with his family and friends and pitching horseshoes. He will be fondly remembered by his wife; sons, Kenneth Rybolt III of Columbia, and Issach Brown of Holts Summit; daughters, Emily Rybolt of Holts Summit and Kassandra Brown of Holts Summit; brothers, William and Jimmy; sisters, Sonya, Denise, and Kay; uncle, Kevin Fox; aunt, Leastermae "Cookie" Brown; Rachel Toalson (Red), and Rose Miler; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Darrick was preceded in death by several uncles, and a niece, Aliyah Branch. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 2020, at Maupin Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oak Level Cemetery.
