Kenneth J. Henke, 66, of Mokane, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at Boone Hospital. He was born on December 9, 1953 in Richmond Heights, Missouri to the late Lawrence Henke and the late Hilda (Pottebaum) Henke. On November 21, 1981, Kenny married Kay (Amos) Henke. She survives his passing. Kenny proudly served in the United States Army. He was the owner of South Callaway Meat Processing and Henke Bar and Grill, both in Mokane. His hobbies included fishing, golfing, and gardening, but his favorite pastime was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Those remaining to mourn his passing include his wife of 38 years, Kay; sons, Bret Chambers (Blake) of Wausau, Wis. and Chance Henke (Kellie) of Florissant; brothers, Larry Henke (Eileen) and Bob Henke; sister, Alice Simmons (Milt); and grandchildren, Maren Chambers and Cole Henke. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jerry and John Henke. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
