Edward K. Bright, 84, of Fulton, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 14, 2020. He was born in Stephens, Missouri on March 16, 1936, to the late George Bright and the late Floy Mae (Kennett) Bright. Edwards was married to Shirley Ann (Bohning) Bright for 53 years until her passing in 2007. He then married Eva Lou (Adams) Bright on January 10, 2010. She survives his passing. Edward was an electrician by trade and owned Bright Electric. He was a member of First Christian Church where he served as a deacon. Edward was a volunteer fireman for the Millersburg Fire Protection District. He is survived by his wife; son, Bill Bright of Fulton; daughter, Kathy Pace (Kevin) of Columbia; stepsons, John Beffa of Williamsburg and James Beffa of Philippines; stepdaughters, Georganna Prescott of Columbia, and Jennifer Dudley (Tim) of Fulton; sisters, Betty Rose Musbach of Jefferson City, and Nannie Lou Mallett of Columbia; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and one, step-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley; and son, Ken Bright. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at Millersburg Cemetery with Pastor Brad Stagg officiating.
