Janice Marie Houf, 68, of Fulton, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at her home. She was born in Fulton, Missouri on July 15, 1951 to the late James A. Houf and the late Mildred (Thomas) Houf. Janice worked as a faculty assistant at Washington University Law School prior to her retirement. Her hobbies included knitting, fishing, and reading books. She loved to travel and loved her dogs. She was a lifelong member of Unity Baptist Church and also a member of Fulton Host Lions Club. Janice's memory will be cherished by her brother, Richard Houf of Fulton; sister-in-law, Janie Houf of Columbia; and many other family members and friends that she cherished. In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas A. Houf. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2020 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Delbert Hampton and Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Unity Baptist Church Cemetery.
