Catherine Laree Green

Catherine Laree Green, 60, of Fulton, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on April 22, 1960, to Charles Clayton Mundy and the late Velma (Jenkins) Mundy. On November 8, 1988, Catherine was married to Kenton Cook Green. He preceded her in death on November 30, 2012. Catherine worked as a teacher at Kingdom Christian Academy prior to her retirement. Her hobbies included fishing and photography. She loved to travel, especially to New Orleans and Colorado. Catherine made countless people smile by entertaining them with her clown performances. She was a member of New Wine Fellowship Church. Catherine's memory will be cherished by her father, Charles Clayton Mundy of New Bloomfield; brother, Adrian "Doug" Mundy (Lori) of New Bloomfield; sisters, Lillian Jones (Yule) of Fulton and Diane Hinkel (Cevin Walker) of Arkansas City, Kan.; step-sons, Kenton "Lee" Green of New Orleans, La., and Christopher Jason Green of Conn.; step-daughters, Karen Ann Hobbs (Michael) of Jefferson City, and Jennifer Alice Wickham of Eldon, and grandchildren, Meghan Green, Kenton Glen Gray, Breanna Laree Wickham, Michael Kenneth Hobbs, Alexander Freeman-Lee Wickham, and Emily Laree Hobbs; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Catherine was preceded in death by brother, Charles Clayton Mundy. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2020, at Southside Cemetery with Pastor Shernett Mosley officiating.
