Patty Hedge, 64, of Fulton, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at her home. She was born in Tulsa, Okla. on June 2, 1955, the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Smith and the late Ruby (Gordon) Smith. Patty enjoyed sewing and fishing. She was well known in the community for her beautiful quilts. Family was first and foremost in Patty's life and the time she spent with them produced many happy memories which will sustain her family as they grieve her passing. Patty is survived by her companion, Bill Flowers; sons, Garry Whitehorn (Nikki) of Byhalia, Miss., Billy Whitehorn of Loveville, Tenn., and Benny Conaway (Marion) of Weisendorf, Germany; daughters, Leona Dillon of Portland, and Kenda Flowers of Hams Prairie; special daughter-in-law, Christy Pratt; brothers, Freddy Smith of Portland, and Clay Smith (Carol) of Fulton, and Dale Smith (Paula) of Colo.; 17 grandchildren; two great-granddaughters, and one great-grandchild on the way. Along with her parents, Patty was preceded in death by son, William Whitehorn; brothers, Bennie Eugene Smith and Alvin Smith; and sisters, Freda Honeycutt and Juanita Pope. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Chaplain Bart Larson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery in Reform.
