Patrick Cecil Mahnken, 81, of Fulton, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at his home. He was born in Cole Camp, Missouri on June 7, 1938 to the late Albert Mahnken and the late Celeste (Pugh) Mahnken. Patrick was married to Tammy (Wyman) Mahnken on March 10, 2013. She survives his passing. Patrick proudly served his country in the Unites States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Patrick was the first to put a fiberglass Mustang body on an altered car and ran a small spoke wheel in the funny car class. He retired from Laborers' International Union of North America Union 662. Being a grandpa and great-grandpa brought great joy to his life. He was a member of VFW Post 2657. Patrick will be fondly remembered by his wife, Tammy; daughter, Tammy Rifkin (Joel) of Columbia; sons, Curtis Mahnken (Ronda) of Auxvasse, Jeffery Mahnken (Sherrie) of South Carolina, and Patrick Mahnken Jr. (Stephanie) of Fulton; daughters, Wendy Foran (Michael) Wentzville and Michelle Key (Josh) of Fulton; sisters, Patricia Lawrence of Arizona and Kathy Heit of Nevada; grandchildren, Jamie Deere, Jennifer Delashmutt, Patrick Mahnken, Darla Potes, Michael Mahnken, Abigayle Mahnken, Curtis Mahnken Jr., Daniel Mahnken, Vanessa Janke, Shauna Bynum, Brandon Inlow, Chassity Inlow, Kylie Rifkin, Peydon Rifkin, Jacklyn Adams, Michael Foran, Gracie Foran, Paige Key, and Jackson, Key; and 23 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy Dianna (Adams) Mahnken; brothers, Samuel, Marion, Jerry, Henry, and Luther; and sisters, Juanita and Mary. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
