Doris Dean Branham

Doris Dean Branham, 68, of Fulton, Mo., passed away surrounded by loved ones, on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Mo. Doris was born on May 9, 1952 in Fulton, Mo., the daughter of Paul and Margaret (Beckman) Hilt, who preceded her in death. She was married on November 27, 1970 in Fulton, Mo. to Paul Branham. Doris was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Fulton, Mo. where she served as President of the Relief Society and had served as Counselor of Temple and Family history work. She also enjoyed serving the temple in St. Louis, Mo. She enjoyed line dancing, teaching line dancing, crafting, crocheting, traveling, genealogy, teaching sign language, being a Scout leader and spending time with her family. Survivors include: her husband of 50 years, Paul Branham of the home; one daughter, Sara Lair of Colorado Springs, Colo.; five sons, Gregory Branham (Jessica) Fulton, Mo., John "J" Branham (Christen) of Auxvasse, Mo., Marcus Spears of Troy, Mo., Warren Spears (Jennifer) of Auxvasse, Mo. and Billy Spears of Fulton, Mo.; 20 grandchildren, Justin, Keshia, Sydney, Ariel, Daniel, Krista, Kimmy, Taylor, Jeremiah, Riley, Mariah, Annalynn, Zachary, Gavin, Shawn, Lily, Chloe, Scott, Ashton, and Mariana; two great-grandchildren, Jasper and Gabriel; and many other extended family and friends whom she loved and cherished. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Davy Hilt. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1603 Kingswood Dr., Fulton, Mo. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Bishop Gary Nevels officiating. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton, Mo.
