Kathleen Boone Kelley

Kathleen Boone Kelley, 85, of Fulton, Mo., responded to her last page and went to meet her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at Valley Park North in Fulton. She was born October 15, 1934, in Sharpsburg, Mo. to John Hamilton Smith and Sarah Bernice McGruder Smith. Kathleen was married to Robert Boone Sr. He preceded her in death. She later married Merle Kelley. He also preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Robert L. "Grumpy" Boone Jr. (Monica) of Fulton; brother, Phillip Smith (Minnie) of Hannibal; sister, Connie Morrison (Billy) of Hannibal; brother-in-law, Harvey Kemp of Hannibal; nephews: Tony Kemp, Andre Sherman James, Marcus Phillip Smith, John Anson Smith, and Martin Trevor Morrison; granddaughter, LaShae Boone McCray (Demetrius); and great-grandchildren, Saniya B. Holmes and Demetrius McCray II "Deuce". Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John Lowell Smith and Donald Maurice Smith; two sisters, Gloria Beatrice Smith and Dorothy Kemp and one nephew, Harvey L. Kemp. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal. Friends and family are invited to Kathleen's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be Tuesday, July 21, 2020, from 1-2 p.m. at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. The family requests those attending the visitation and services please wear a mask and practice physical distancing while attending services.
