Kimberly Lynn (Morts) Beardslee, 55, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020, at Sugarland Memorial Hospital in Sugarland, Texas. Kim was born in Fulton, Mo. to Raymond Alfred Morts and Iva Pearl (Tevis) Morts on January 9, 1965. Most of her schooling was at South Callaway High School, although she graduated from Fulton High School in 1983. She married David Kent Yancey in Fulton, Mo. in 1983. Together they had their three children. She worked for Callaway County Health Department for 15 years where she served many in the Callaway County community. Kim married David W. Beardslee in October 2, 2010, and David (Hev) proceeded her in death on June 15, 2018. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, fishing and camping, watching movies and British baking shows, going to Renaissance Fairs, spending time with family and attending church. She resided in Fulton, Mo. for most of her life, but moved to Texas in 2017. Kim has two siblings, Karen Morts of Fulton, Mo. and Kathy Hodges (Marty) of Hallsville, Mo. She leaves behind daughter, Danielle and son-in-law Daniel Archer and their children Caden, Gavin, Addison, Evelyn, Joscelyn, and Austin; daughter, Sarah and son-in-law Chris Bruns and their two children Zane Irwin and Rylie Bruns; son David Yancey Jr.; and stepson, Eric Beardslee and his children Grayson, Ava and Makenna. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Kim will be deeply missed by many family and friends. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
