Michael Daniel Watson

Michael Daniel Watson, 36, of Fulton, died on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri with his parents at his side. Michael was born on April 13, 1984 in Fulton, Missouri to Bert Watson and Sherry (Meuth) Lee. Michael could accomplish anything he set his mind to when it came to vehicle repair, upholstery, and carpentry. He began these trades at a young age. It was like he had a gift. Michael could look at something that needed to be fixed and would just be able to do it. Michael's life would seem short to many, but those who were touched by him understood the quality of his existence was doing things for others. He was a kind soul, very giving, and had a big heart. Michael was always helping others, and in the end, he donated his organs to save other lives. Michael is survived by his father, Bert Watson (Mary Ann); mother, Sherry Meuth-Lee (Les); brothers, Jeremy Salmons, Steven Meuth, Casey Watson, Kelly Gooldy, Todd Gooldy, and Justin Erbschole; sisters, Jess Sallin, Elizabeth Erbschole; and Alesa Lee; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Michael was preceded in death by grandparents, Shorty and Marcella Watson and Henry and LaVerne Meuth. A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton.
