John Horstman

John Douglas "Doug" Horstman, 54, of Mokane, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at University of Missouri Hospital. He was born in Fulton on Independence Day of 1965 to the late John Horstman and Pat (Hall) Horstman. Doug graduated from South Callaway High School and furthered his education at University of Missouri Columbia. He was employed at Seal-Rite where he worked in accounting. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, grilling, and being outdoors. Much of his time was spent attending his kid's sporting events. He is survived by his mother, Pat Horstman of Mokane; children, Luke Horstman, Landon Horstman and DeLaney Horstman, all of Mokane; brother, Michael Horstman (Treasa) of Auxvasse; sister, Nancy McCarthy (Leo) of Mokane; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Doug was preceded in death by his father, John Horstman, and sister, Sharon Miller. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2020 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Father Joseph Abah officiating. Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mokane Cemetery.
