Richard Gregor Hansen

Richard Gregor Hansen, 81, of Fulton, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020, at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics. He was born in Tekamah, Nebraska on August 29, 1938, the son of the late Leycester Hansen and the late Katherine (Swager) Hansen. Not one to sit idle, Richard decided retirement was not for him and returned to his job in Security at Fulton State Hospital, where he was still an active employee at the time of his passing. In his spare time, he enjoyed puttering, woodworking, and remodeling. He will be greatly missed by his companion, Alice Gamet of the home; children, Deb Nelson Crist (Randy) of Nebraska; Teresa Reeder (Duane) of Nebraska; Kathy Moscato-Vernon (Dan) of Nebraska; Kent Hansen (Stephanie) of New Hampshire; Carolyn Koehrsen (Bill) of Iowa; and their mother, Marlene Hansen of Nebraska; brother, Ronald Hansen (Erma) of Nebraska; sister, Guine Doeden (Larry) of Wisconsin; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
