Darrel Lee English, 78, of Fulton, formerly of Kingdom City, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at his home. Darrel was born on July 20, 1941, in Mexico, the son of Joe and Jane (Erwin) English. On August 12, 1961, in Mexico, he married Anna Wallen. Darrell was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked most of his life as truck driver till retirement. He was also a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Anna of the home; three children, Karla Jean (Doug) Shramek, Ronald Lee (Laura) English, and Janet Lynn Martin; eight grandchildren, Craig Shramek, Jeana Maxwell, Heather English, Kaylee English, Kayla Laughlin, Dakota Kemp, Ashly Brown and Joseph Martin; and 13 great-grandchildren; and two sisters; Bonnie Jean (Bill) Oberhaus and Debbie Jo Zumbehl. Darrel was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, at First Christian Church in Fulton with Rev. Mindy Kiepe officiating. Burial will be at Auxvasse Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Christian Church of Fulton. Arrangements made under the direction of Arnold Funeral Home.
