Jesse Jay Perry

Jesse Jay Perry, 63, of Auxvasse, passed away at his home on Friday, August 21, 2020. He was born on September 28, 1956, in Miami, Florida to the E.H. Meeker and Charlotta (Robinson) Meeker. Jesse was married to Jeannie (Bonds) Perry who survives his passing. Jesse was no stranger to hard work and earned his living as a roofer. He was an avid outdoorsman who liked to fish and look for rocks. He also enjoyed Bible Study. He found great pleasure in simply spending time with his family and dogs. In addition to his wife, Jesse will be missed by sons, Roger Nolf of Kingdom City, and Tommy Shannon of Kingdom City; daughters, Jeannie Childress of Alabama, and Wendy Nolf of Kingdom City; brother, Jack Meeker of Orange, Calif.; and sister, Mattie Meeker of Orange, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2020, at Harmony Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating.
