Andrea Yancy

Andrea Marie Yancy, 57, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 20, 1962 in Troy, Missouri, a daughter of Damon and Margaret (Doyle) Haley. She attended Aurora High School in Aurora, Colorado where she was on the swim team. Andrea was employed with the Missouri Dept. of Corrections Board of Probation and Parole until her retirement. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Andrea is survived by her father: Damon Haley of Jefferson City; two sons: Michael A. Yancy (Holly) of New Bloomfield, Shawn P. Yancy of Topeka, Kansas; two grandchildren: Margaret (Maggie) and Henry; one sister: Wendy Haley of Aurora, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her mother: Margaret Haley; and one sister: Leslie Powers. A Celebration of Andrea's life will be private for the family.
