Lorraine Minardi

Lorraine Ellen Minardi, 96, of Fulton, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at home. She was born on June 12, 1924 to the late George Fore and the late Phoebe A. (Noe) Fore Waggoner. Her father passed when she was young and she was raised by Albert William Waggoner Sr. On January 28, 1947, Lorraine was united in marriage to Andrew Minardi. He preceded her in death on June 23, 2007. Lorraine attended church at New Beginning Full Gospel Church in Auxvasse. She enjoyed playing cards and games with her family and anything to do with Clydesdale horses. She enjoyed being involved in activities and organizations including Red Hat Society, Williamsburg Extension Club, Auxvasse Fire Protection District and the Callaway Estates Board of Directors. She also belonged to the Quilting Club, Auxvasse Senior Center Board of Directors, and Bowling Leagues. She wrote for the North Callaway Spirit newspaper. She loved to dance, her favorite being the jitter bug. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor. She will be fondly remembered by her companion, Clyde Womack and his children, Becky Skaggs, Bonnie Branter, Laurie Nichols, Richard Womack, Kendale Allen, and John Allen; nephew, Charles Biseland (Cheryl); niece, Suzie Tulock; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Lorraine was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Willie Leonberger officiating. Friends will be received from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks.
