Letha Ann "Queenie" Maddox, 92, of Fulton, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at Fulton Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Calwood, Missouri on May 11, 1928 to the late Earl A. Burry and the late Delcie Pearl (Custard) Burry. Letha retired from Fulton State Hospital where she worked as a security aide. She enjoyed reading and playing Bingo. She always had her radio tuned to classic country music and liked to attend concerts. Those remaining to cherish her memory include sons, Marvin Earl Giboney (Mary Lou) of Fulton, Harold Lee Giboney (Brenda) of Fulton, and Oscar Lee Maddox Jr. (Kerri) of Trinity, Ala.; daughters, Saundra Mae Edwards (Jerry) of Fulton, and Patricia Ann Wright (Robert) of Fulton; brother, Earl Burry of Fulton; sister, Nellie Griffith of Fulton; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, George Wesley Giboney and Richard Warren Giboney; and sister, Sadie Burry Gill. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at New Hope Cemetery with Pastor Gerry Spires officiating.
