He was adored by his 15 grandchildren. A man of many and diverse interests, Jim was a passionate fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, an enthusiastic coin collector, and a voracious reader. For several years he was the author of a regular column about sports in the Columbia Tribune (Mo.). He possessed a completely original sense of humor as well as a remarkable zest for life. He will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and sister, Patricia Wesner, and is survived by his wife and children. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of Metro Milwaukee Hospice as well as the Aurora Medical Center in Grafton.
