Tammy Lou Merriman, 56, of Columbia, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020. Tammy was born on January 16, 1964, in Columbia, Missouri to Raymond and Mary (Roberts) Taylor. She married Don Merriman on June 1, 1985, in Vernon Texas. Tammy was an excellent painter and cook. She was always willing to provide a helping hand or shoulder to lean on no matter what time of day or night. Tammy enjoyed home decorating, bargain hunting and shopping with her children and grandchildren. She loved singing, dancing and spending time with her family most of all. Tammy is survived by her husband, Don; her mother, Mary Taylor of Fulton; two sons: Brandon (Stacey) Taylor of Auxvasse, Eric (Michelle) Merriman of Columbia; three siblings: Orie Taylor, Michelle Taylor, Sheila Taylor; grandchildren: Tanner Taylor, Brayden Taylor, Easton Merriman, McKinley Merriman; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was is preceded in death by her father Raymond Taylor, and brothers, Raymond, and Billy Taylor. Services will be private for family only.
