Eunice Naomi (Maddox) Kyger

Eunice Naomi (Maddox) Kyger, age 89, died on Friday, March 13, 2020 in Fulton, Mo. Born in 1930 at her family home outside Fulton, Eunice was a lifelong resident of Callaway County. She attended Garden Prairie School from the first through eighth grades and graduated from Fulton High School in 1948. Eunice loved the outdoors, enjoyed going on long walks on the family farm where she would often gather Sassafras roots to make tea, and had a great sense of humor and wonderful smile. She was dedicated to her two sons, Joe and Roger, and participated in many of their activities, including hunting, cooking and carpentry. She was also active in collecting funds for MS and Boy Scouts when the boys were young. She is survived by her sons, Joe and Roger Kyger; her sister, Dorothy (Maddox) Russell; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth (Maddox) Burgan; her father and mother, Otto and Ollie Maddox; Virgil Maddox and Sylvia Maddox. She was greatly loved and will be missed by her sons, sister, nieces, nephews and friends.
