Brenda Sue Trabue

Brenda Sue Trabue, 60, of New Bloomfield, passed away at her home on Tuesday, September 17, 2019. She was born in Fulton on May 28, 1959, the daughter of the late Ire James O'Neal and the late Lois Dean (Tate) O'Neal. Brenda was married to Mark Trabue on May 21, 2000. He survives her passing. Brenda spent her days caring for her home and her family. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church in Columbia. She enjoyed flower gardening and camping in their RV. Brenda was a talented cook and shared her gift with everyone. She loved her family and was active in the lives of her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Brenda is survived by son, Shawn Bedford (Courtney) of Columbia; daughter, Melissa Lawson (James) of Marshfield; brothers, Glen Dillon (Shirley) of Fulton, and Terry O'Neal (Edna) of Williamsburg; sister, Billie Jean Williams (Moe) of Auxvasse, Celena Laswell of New Bloomfield; five grandchildren, James and Kelly Lawson, Anna Scritchfield, and Parker and Cooper Bedford; four great-grandchildren, Lia Steffensen, Maddie and Axton Carroll, and Brayden Flannigan; and several nieces and nephews. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Roger O'Neal. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
