Albert Lee Powell

Albert Lee Powell, age 79, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 in Citrus County, Florida. He was born July 8, 1940 in Steedman, Callaway County, Missouri, to the late Paul I. Powell and Edith P. "Hampton" Powell, both of Callaway County. He was raised in part by grandparents, Amos L. and Martha Hampton in the "Dixie" Community. He attended high school in New Bloomfield and Fulton, Missouri. He served four (4) years in the US Air Force, 1960 through 1963, and worked and maintained an electronic service business in and around Columbia, Missouri until he retired to Florida in 2003. Survivors include: one brother, Wendell R. Powell, Clarksville, Arkansas; and several half brothers and sisters from his father: Oleta F., James B., Vivian P., Amy R., Shirley M., Debra K., Sharon M., Norma B., Helen M., Melody L., and the late Glenn E. Powell. Graveside funeral arrangements are pending and will be held at a later date.
