Betty Jean Kintner, 86, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at Fulton Manor. She was born on July 6, 1933 in Jefferson City, Missouri, the daughter of the late Robert Edward Farquer and the late Mary (Maples) Farquer. Betty was employed by International and Stride-Rite Shoe Factories prior to working at Fulton State Hospital, where she retired following 19 years of service. In her younger years, she enjoyed making crafts and camping. In later years, she looked forward to annual trips to Branson with Linda and Charles to Christmas shop. Betty always loved family outings and spending time with her kids and grandkids. She leaves behind daughter, Linda Garriott (Charles) of Fulton; daughters-in-law, Rose Hoover of Fulton and Sandy Hoover of Kansas City; grandchildren, Mike Case (Kim Hallemeyer), Richard Case (Amy Cunningham), Eddie Dean Hoover (Kathryn), Mark Hoover (Amy), Tracy Miller, Lisa Clevenger, Marveena Acton (Jeff), and Chuck Garriott; great-grandchildren, Cody Case, Brittney Case, Dillon Case (Sarah), Caitlin Hutchison (Isaiah), and Shelby Case(Adam Ashley), Kelsie Hoover, Jennifer Day (Will), Kayleey Hoover, D.J. Austin (Amber); several great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by husbands, Carl Hoover, Roy Graver, and Mancel Kintner; sons, Lloyd "Eddie" Hoove and Carl "Steve" Hoover; granddaughter, Lorie Austin; great-grandson, Colten Case; and son-in-law, George Case. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastors Bruce Williamson and Mike Crowson officiating. Friends will be received from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
