Jerry Dale "Ole' Papa" Hall, 64, of New Bloomfield, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at his home. He was born in Lewisville, Arkansas on July 17, 1955, the son of the late Harry E. Hall and the late Lorraine (Winberry) Hall. Ole' Papa was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Not a stranger to hard work, he earned his living as a self-employed contractor. Ole' Papa also enjoyed gambling and spending time with his family. He is survived by his life partner, Debbie Hall of the home; sons, Shawn Hall and his wife Jennifer of Centralia, and John Hall of Nebraska; daughters, Lynelle Hall and Amanda Hall of Nebraska, and Melissa Finch of Mexico; sister, Linda Hall of Magnolia, Ark.; sister-in-law, Lisa Hall of New Bloomfield; and grandchildren, Jacob, Kiernan, Julia, Elizabeth, Natalie, and Alison; and several other grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by brother, Floyd "Herbert" Hall. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
