Wilhelmina "Billie" Young, 80, of Steedman, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at her home. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 4, 1938, the daughter of the late Kurt Oster and the late Bernice (Burroughs) Oster. Billie owned and operated Better Cleaners in St. Louis prior to moving to Steedman. She enjoyed working, playing cards, online games, dancing, fishing, traveling, and her little dogs, Floppy and Chi-Chi. Billie was fiercely independent and she was not hesitant to say whatever came to mind. It was important to her to help people, if she could, she would. She is survived by her son, Fred Impellizzeri of Collinsville, Ill.; granddaughter, Elena Coleman and her husband Tony of Mark Twain Lake; grandson, Jamie Ringkamp of Maryland Heights; and great-granddaughter, Corrinne Krenzel. In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; and brother, Mark Oster. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
