Owls’ Zrodowska now a two-time All-American

For the second time in her William Woods career, Maria Zrodowska was named to the NAIA golf All-American team.

Zrodowska earned a third team selection this season to follow her second team in 2019. Also this year, she was named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Year and selected to the All-AMC first team — the second time she has received each of those awards.

Leading a team that qualified for the national championships this year, Zrodowska averaged a round score of 76.69, collecting four wins and six top-five finishes. She was also named the conference player of the week three times.

Her four wins also made her the program all-time wins leader. She has 15 wins through her first three years — three wins more than the second-most.

At her second national championships, Zrodowska was the only Owl to advance to the final two days of the event. She finished with a four-round score of 306 in a tie for 29th place. She tied for fifth place in her first nationals appearance in 2019.
