Three area schools face off in quad, New Bloomfield 2nd after tiebreaker

Three Callaway County schools - Fulton, New Bloomfield and South Callaway - met each other Monday in a quad meet at Fulton Country Club along with Hannibal.

Hannibal would come out the winner after a tiebreaker with New Bloomfield after both teams had a team score of 199, a season-low for the Lady Wildcats. Fulton senior Grace Siegel would pace all individuals with her 44 and the Lady Hornets' team score of 208.

The Lady Wildcats were led by senior Sylvia Moss, sophomore Dixie Moss and senior Jill Pry, who each shot a 46 and the second-best individual score of the day. They trailed behind Siegel while her Fulton teammate junior Grace Ousley shot a third-best 48, which tied Hannibal's best golfer, Grace Kirby.

Hannibal had every one of its golfers shoot under 60 while New Bloomfield had the aforementioned three. Fulton freshman Regann Cunningham, with a 54, also stayed under this while South Callaway juniors Isabelle Vandeloecht and Gabby Hecktor shot a 58 and 59, respectively, for the Lady Bulldogs' 247 team score.
