New Bloomfield and South Callaway both competed Tuesday in the California Invitational, with the Lady Wildcats taking third out of 13 teams.
Senior Sylvia Moss led New Bloomfield's team score of 408 by tying for fourth among individuals with her score of 88.
The rest of the Lady Wildcats couldn't get under 100, but sophomore Dixie Moss and senior Jill Pry coming close with 100 and 102, respectively. Moss placed 11th, and Pry took 14th. Freshman Caeli Lawrence rounded out New Bloomfield with a 118.
South Callaway finished lower in the 13-team field at a 474, but junior Gabby Hecktor led the Lady Bulldogs with a 101. Junior Isabelle Vandeloecht was behind her with a 118.
New Bloomfield and South Callaway will participate in the Callaway Cup on Friday at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club in New Bloomfield.
