Lady Hornets defeat Mexico for second time, win all three sets

In Fulton's first match against Mexico in August, the Lady Hornets would win in four sets. This time, Fulton would sweep the Lady Bulldogs (25-15, 25-22, 25-19).

The first meeting was the start of the season and Fulton's home opener so it had some significance. Monday's meeting in Mexico would also have some significance as well as it was the first match for the Lady Hornets (4-2) after shutting down volleyball activities because of COVID-19.

Monday was the first time Fulton has defeated Mexico (1-5, 1-3 NCMC) twice in one year since 2015, when the Lady Hornets three times during the regular season and in districts. From 2016-20, Fulton went 1-9 against Mexico and are currently 3-0 against the North Central Missouri Conference.

Fulton will take a break from its conference schedule Thursday at home when it faces Southern Boone (0-4).
