The Missouri School for the Deaf ran in its final cross country meet of the season Wednesday.

The Eagles had one more chance in the Northwest Last Chance Meet in Cedar Hill and made the most of it. Senior Julia Stafford raced in the girls junior varsity race and finished with a personal best.

Stafford placed 59th with a time of 39:21.85. She competed in the same race as teammate Tracy Austin, who finished behind her in 60th with a time of 39:27.12.

Ethen Orick raced to a 21st-place finish in the two-mile middle school boys race with a time of 18:31.40.
