Fulton will be looking to rekindle the success from earlier in season when it begins district play Thursday.
The Lady Hornets are on a six-match losing streak after losing its final home game Monday to Osage (12-25, 16-25, 16-25) and its regular season finale at Warrenton (19-25, 24-26, 13-25).
Monday was Fulton volleyball's Pink Out match when Fulton was looking for its first win against the Lady Indians (8-17-1) since 2015 but were swept in its third consecutive match.
The Lady Hornets were swept a fourth straight time Tuesday at Warrenton (23-9-1), who had already clinched its second consecutive 20-win season and fourth in five seasons, to give the Warriors their third win in a row and 13th win in their previous 15 matches. Fulton played a more competitive brand of volleyball in the first two sets, but Warrenton was able to overcome.
The Class 4 District 8 Tournament's first round in Hannibal will see the Lady Hornets (7-17) yet again taking the floor against Mexico (3-18). Fulton won the previous two matches in four sets for its season opener and swept the Lady Bulldogs in three sets about a month later on Sept. 20.
