Ladybirds lose second match to Bowling Green

North Callaway gave Bowling Green a scare in a few of the sets played Sept. 30 during the four-set first meeting. The Lady Bobcats had more control in the rematch Tuesday.

The Ladybirds were swept in Bowling Green (23-25, 19-25, 17-25).

Head coach Andrew Klein said North Callaway still had good effort but didn't make as many plays as the Lady Bobcats.

North Callaway junior varsity was swept in its match as well (7-25, 19-25).

North Callaway (2-17) will face an opponent is has defeated this season when it travels Thursday for a 6 p.m. match at Chamois (1-8). The Ladybirds swept the Lady Pirates Sept. 21 in North Callaway.
