NEW BLOOMFIELD - Senior forward Tanner Payne scored eight points as the Wildcats were overpowered by the Pirates in a Show-Me Conference loss Thursday night.
New Bloomfield dropped to 1-10 on the season and 0-3 in the SMC.
Chamois improved to 2-5 overall and 2-0 in conference play, avenging a 57-45 loss to the Wildcats in the seventh-place game of the Tipton Tournament on Dec. 4.
New Bloomfield is the No. 8 seed for next week's South Callaway Tournament. The Wildcats face top-seeded Montgomery County in the first round at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the middle school gym.
